I started with my very compact Sony Cyber Shot. It's a point and shoot but it has video capabilities. For editing I would use Windows Moviemaker. Moviemaker was very easy to use and every PC desktop and laptop has it installed.
I now use an Apple instead of a PC. If you have an Apple iMovie is very simple too. Both programs are Drag and Drop the media into the movie timeline. Very easy.
I encourage you to open up either one of those programs and create a slideshow using your still photos. lt's fun.

My Film Idea's and Production Journal -GOAL
So I'm going to have 2 goals for this blog...
1- Share my scribbles, notes, ideas... and
2-Encourage my 'demographic' to create and share their stories through video and still photography.
My hope is that you sign up as a follower and a contributor. I love to learn and I love to teach. So don't be shy about asking questions. If I don't have the answer... I'll let you know... However, I will share what I'm learning via my posts and through the my links to other media.
I will also post links to my films... past and present. I want to post them as I presented them -that way you can see the process of me improving my skill.
Goal #2- I want to encourage you to tell your stories and the stories of those around you. Posterity through multimedia arts.
